Well, that sounded good last year, but over the past two months, the actions and words of Hillary Clinton have gone from being merely disappointing to downright disgusting. I guess the debate last week was the final straw. I've watched Senator Clinton and her husband play this game of appealing to the worst side of white people, but last Wednesday, when she hurled the name "Farrakhan" out of nowhere, well that's when the silly season came to an early end for me. She said the "F" word to scare white people, pure and simple. Of course, Obama has no connection to Farrakhan. But, according to Senator Clinton, Obama's pastor does -- AND the "church bulletin" once included a Los Angeles Times op-ed from some guy with Hamas! No, not the church bulletin!

 

This sleazy attempt to smear Obama was brilliantly explained the following night by Stephen Colbert. He pointed out that if Obama is supported by Ted Kennedy, who is Catholic, and the Catholic Church is led by a Pope who was in the Hitler Youth, that can mean only one thing: OBAMA LOVES HITLER!

 

Yes, Senator Clinton, that's how you sounded. Like you were nuts. Like you were a bigot stoking the fires of stupidity. How sad that I would ever have to write those words about you. You have devoted your life to good causes and good deeds. And now to throw it all away for an office you can't win unless you smear the black man so much that the superdelegates cry "Uncle (Tom)" and give it all to you.

 

But that can't happen. You cast your die when you voted to start this bloody war. When you did that you were like Moses who lost it for a moment and, because of that, was prohibited from entering the Promised Land.

 

How sad for a country that wanted to see the first woman elected to the White House. That day will come -- but it won't be you. We'll have to wait for the current Democratic governor of Kansas to run in 2016 (you read it here first!).

I realy never wanted trump, I did fall for all the garbage coming out of his mouth, I just dont think he will do us any good if he was to become prez!  He was exciting to watch and it was/is a trip to see how people just fall all over this guy!  I think he would hurt the U.S way more than help!

 

He needs to stick to real estate and leave politics to the messed up politicians!

 

I will be happy when it is over, like I am every 4 yrs lol!

 

Bernie seems to want to be prez for the people not himself!

The Iowa Democratic caucus vote count was so close last night, that at least 6 precincts were decided by flipping a coin — an obscure procedure in the Iowa caucus bylaws. And in all 6 instances, the last remaining county delegate went to Hillary Clinton. Winning 6 coin tosses in a row is extraordinarily rare, and only has a 1.6 percent probability of occurring. As journalist Ben Norton explained, that’s broken down by calculating (1/2)^6, which is 1/64 — or 1.6 percent.

If Bernie Sanders had won half of the coin flips and split the six county delegates three and three with Clinton, he would have finished at 698.49 delegates to Clinton’s 696.57, effectively giving him an Iowa victory. According to a live map of all Iowa precincts, Clinton has a razor-thin 0.3 percent lead over the Vermont U.S. Senator with 99.9 percent of precincts reporting.

I just think this shows Sanders is electable.  How many walked into the polls thinking 'I like him but he is not going to win, might as well vote for one that has a chance?'.

I would say the results we see in Iowa reflect the growing support for Bernie inside the party.

 

Bernie appeals to citizens across age and gender and race and religious demographics.

 

Bernie Sanders draws large crowds of young supporters eager and hungry to volunteer for change.

 

The energy at the Bernie Sanders events is genuine, organic and off the charts.

During the course of Mr. Trump’s campaign in Iowa, he regularly shattered records for attendance at his rallies in Iowa.  Often times, Trump’s campaign had roughly 10,000-20,000 guests attending every 4 days in January.

Shattering records on multiple occasions, Mr. Trump and Sarah Palin booked stadiums and colosseums to standing-room-only occupancy.

Much speculation has risen due to this unrealistic and shocking revelation regarding Cruz’s win in Iowa.

When I worked for the Jon Coon campaign in '94 had he received a certain percentage of the votes (I don't remember the number off hand) it would have given the Libertarian Party major party status so they would no longer need a petition drive to put a candidate on the ballot which they had always had to do previously.

 

Jon's largest support base was in Clare County. According to the exit polls he had more than enough votes to reach the ballot goal.

 

But a funny thing happened, all the votes in Clare County mysteriously disappeared due to a voting machine glitch. This brought his total down to just below what was needed.

 

Just so you know how elections work in this country.
