MMJ. One of nature's most effective homeopathic medicines. Especially effective in treating nicotine addiction as well as opioids.

and alcohol. I've known a bunch of people that stopped ruining their loved ones lives as well as their own using cannabis not only to combat the ill effects of alcohol withdrawals but also to treat the anxiety, pain, dis-ease often given for the reason people state for drinking in the first place.

There is NOTHING "homeopathic" about cannabis.

Homeopathy is crank science and crank medicine.

Cannabis has real science behind its many benefits as medicine.

Its what helped me beat a 1500 mg a day Vicodin habit I tapered down and smoked heavy for a few weeks to get over the dope sickness, .

In Vicodin that would be 15mg hydrocodone. Reporting the amount of Tylenol is irrelevant today as all strengths contain 325mg of Tylenol. I am being technical because this is major topic for me.  We all need to make this point when ever cannabis is compared to alcohol or RX narcotics. It is the opposite of a gateway drug. We all know this but it is missed by the rest of the world. Except by the manufactures of alcohol and prescription drugs.

Hello, I know that I couldn't have made it through w/d without the assistance of cannabis. Was wearing 3- 100 mcgm fentenyl patches and using roxynol liquid every 3 hrs. I tapered down over 4 months using only cannabis for the shakes, muscle spaz, and sleep. After years of opiate dependency I am finally completely off of the hard drugs. I truly owe my life to this unbelievable plant. I never could have done it by myself. I am grateful and even a bit proud of myself. I moved from Wisconsin so I could stay alive and it is working so far. Just wanted to share my story to possibly help someone else. Thanks.

I would think if I did 15  10/500 vic's/loratabs I would have taken 150 mg of hydrocodone and 7500 mg of acedametaphine?

Just sayin,

I was cold turkeyed off of 40 mg of methadone a day and 4 mg of xanax a day, I wound up in i.c.u on the 8th nite, almost and was told I should have died!

I use mm, I mostly use medibles, I may actualy smoke 1 to 1/12 joints a wk now, I only do an rx when I absolutly have to, When I have more physical activity in my life than normal I still have to use an rx,  But im not hooked and can safely not take any if need be,  Most months I only take my rx the day before my dr. appt,  They like to urine screen me to see that I have the rx in my system, luckily as long as I have an upto date mm card I can have thc in my system also! (they wont renew me though, thats on me lol)

Peace

There are other legal  leafs that grow on tress  that do help beat Opiate addiction  But the FDA  And big pharm want to ban it,  I wonder why? Also this leaf is a great pain killer

They want to use other narco's to get us off of the ones we are hooked on,  big pharma dont want a natural cure for drug addiction, they would lose to much $$$ and so would all of the politicians that get kick backs from them!

Peace

It was instrumental in kicking Kadian Sulfate, after having also been treated for years with Fentanyl. I had to run at it twice, as I had tried to wean myself too quickly the first time.

During my treatment for cancer, the VA put me Oxy in two different forms. They gave no advice or warnings. Once I felt strong enough (I thought) I eased off that Oxy. Terrible experience that I won't share with people. As mentioned by others, I now use alcohol because that's the lightest medication available to me and I can control the dose.

It's apparent to me why the system supports Big Pharm. Quality caregivers give nothing back to Stock Market Shareholders and don't line Congressmen pockets ... they save patients lives. The system can't make money off of love and compassion, so they try to stop us at every turn. Honestly, bless Michigan for enacting our current rules and trying to care for those of us that the federal system is clearly not interested in saving.

Edit: sorry, not trying to hijack the op's thread. Just got ... involved ...
