Do you drink anything died blue or purple sweetened with aspartine?    I cut out aspartine and heartburn gone after dealing with it for 15 years.  Hi blood pressure at young age so i cut out soda and was drinkling grape drink mix a gallon or  more a day.  What a differnece i play poker touraments mostley and some of them are 10 to 12 hour sessions with only a 10 min break every other hour.  I had to stop playing because of my stomach issues.  no doc every asked me about aspertine wtf wish they would of years ago.

I suggest everyone take an intake inventory today before our ignorance overwhelms us with disease. its too late for many we bury.

The list of good edibles is easy. Off the azz of a beast, plucked from a garden, drunk from a spring, and easily pronounced is a good start.

No man made chemical food stuff is healthy. If the package is crunchy save for a coffin.  After reading food labels I realize their is a war going on, one for our very health and disease. Food and Drug, under one roof, managed by past food and drug employee$, go figure. be smart

I recently had my sleep doctor tell me to go on a vegan diet. Problem is, this illness is neither caused nor cured by diet. It's cause is emotional or physical trauma. It causes the nerves within the gut to become sensitized, like your skin with a sunburn. With me it's emotional trauma caused by, among other things, a seven year marriage to a verbal and emotional abuser. BTW, I do have to watch what I eat.

This illness is like having the flu, along with abdominal pain, 24/7. Sometimes I can function, sometimes I can't. I was just wondering if anyone else on here deals with it, and how. Mmj is a Godsend, but sometimes norco is my friend too. Anyone find any particular strain helpful for abdominal pain and a feeling of flu-like sickness?

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but:

If you decide to go the diet route, check out the Special Carbohydrate Diet rather than vegan. Just keep in mind that it can be a difficult diet to follow and you'll probably need a number of months to see results.

If it is truly emotional in origin, then you would do well to incorporate some combination of psychotherapy, meditation, and biofeedback.

If you experience nausea, I recommend an oil pen.

And don't forget high CBD cannabis!

Zachw... I do vape almost exclusively (concentrates), but have never tried a high CBD strain. It would be nice to be able to medicate without too much of a buzz sometimes, but do high CBD strains work better for abdominal pain and nausea? If so I sure need to try one.

Yeah, I don't think I'd be able to stick to any serious diet that replaces virtually everything I eat. I don't have an appetite anyway, and don't eat much as it is. But like I said, this isn't a food related illness.

I'm currently seeing a therapist and have an appointment with a psychologist at U of M in a couple of weeks. Maybe they can straighten out this mess.

I know you're not a doctor, but have you stayed at a Holiday Inn Express lately? If so, that's good enough for me. :)

A warning to everyone... control your stress level. If you don't you can get physically sick, and then you're really in trouble.

if your abdominal pain and nausea are caused by anxiety or nervousness, then yes it can help tremendously when added to THC for the pain and cramping.

Pain of the inner organs and IBS.
