In Your Experience, When Does Gorilla Glue #4 Finish Outdoors In Michigan? I Hope To

Recommended Posts

get an answer based on someone's personal experience.   (i searched the web but failed to find an answer).

By the way, in my experience Skywalker OG finishes Nov 15.  So for me, Skywalker is an outdoor loser. If I find that late finish is also true of gg#4, i won't plant gg #4 outdoors.

I have the same question on Cottonmouth (Sensi Star x AK47).   The cottonmoutgh strain barely shows up on the web and i can't find outdoor finishing time for it either.

GG finished up mid October last year. Nice large plant with lots of buds.

norby said his were sexually confused I think. Did you notice any bud finger or ball sacks at the end? I've got my bottle of Reverse on standby, his review scared me a bit.....I dont often get to see an accidental he/she in the garden.

and did you put them out in may, or june or?  and were they already vegged, flower intiated or seeds/clones?

My glue is done at 65 days of bud. Some take it to 75 days but I don't feel the need to go that long. I think she'll finish fine outside but you better have alot of stakes and tie up ever branch. She gets crazy floppy once she puts on weight. I can't imagine what that looks like outdoors. I never seen any confusion in the GG 4 cut and I've been growing her for about 2 years. ☺

Believe they went out in June, thinking mid month. No ball sacks that I can remember. These were clones and about a month old.

Took some clippings off the top of GG recently, they turned out really nice. Plan is to veg under light for couple weeks and then move into outside grow.

Yes, plan on lots of stakes to hold the plant up. I used T post and put 4 per plant and then ran string around to hold branches.

Our favorite is Jack Frost, no seeds or clones now though. Got seeds from guy who saved the seeds from years ago.

Yes, mid October harvest. Like the Jack Frost for the taste. Not a very friendly indoor plant though, grows too tall.

have you found you can control this  with training in veg, shorter veg, topping etc?

I label the ones "not friendly for indoors" if they take longer than 75 days to finish, like some unruly sativas. My habits just wont accommodate those types.

Had a JF that was 4 weeks old and over 3' tall, cropped to keep under the light in flower. I'm sure they can be controlled to a reasonable height.

Knew someone who grew one outdoors last year and it was 12' tall, while other plants were under 8'.
