A $500 fine for the misdemeanors of maintaining a drug house and possession of marijuana.

Kent County Circuit Court Judge George Buth handed down the sentence Wednesday, June 15 following a six-year legal battle that wound its way to the state's highest court and back again.

Glad to hear that is all he got. All that money, time and heartbreak for nothing. Way to go Michigan keep wasting our money after all that is what it is there for right? And great job on treating the citizens of this state in such a fine manor. It truly is unbelievable.

All that work for two misdemeanors?

I do not have all the answers to that

but maybe one being JOB'S, and to keep the grease on the wheel that turns the justice system if any one wants to call it that

Marihuana is Big business we all can agree on that just one reason why it will not ever be legal in a way we would all want in Michigan

I still support Medical marihuana we may be winning that because before 2008 it would have been different for sure

Just my own opinion
