Change Form Rejection Letter?

Just got a letter from the state  that says that a recent change form could not be reviewed because my registration is expired or  you have never registered with the MMMP program ?

 

I have 3 active patient cards and a personal patient card don't understand whats going on here I have two change forms currently in play one  prospective patient  just renewed their card expires in 18 the other told me that he just reapplied for his card and we waited until he had his card in hand to send in the change form naming me to be his caregiver since they dont give specifics there's no telling which of the two it pertains to?

I called them one time, they didn't want to tell me anything that wasn't directly about me, i had a card help up for a change/renewal took seven months,, (back in the day) I called an they asked me if i was the patient n I said no caregiver.. they told me we can't tell ya sqaut.. maybe times have changed, an they help ya now.. IDK Be interested to see how they respond to a request like that..

 

Sounds to me like they couldn't read a patient number or it was wrongly printed, I know  an error gets it killed quick..

Im thinking since the change form didnt go through that they will be bound by HIPPA  preventing them to tell me who it is my hopes are they can tell us the check number so we can trace it that way .

 

They aren't bound by HIPPA. HIPPA is a Federal law and cannabis is illegal federally so it doesn't apply.

Well they still cant give me info on any patient not connected to me via the registry doesnt matter this letter was in reference to a patient I signed sent his paperwork in 2 days later went off on me saying he didn't want me having  his info address etc so I stopped payment on my change fee and background check fees check strange because it said its going to refund us the $10?

 

It was from April 7th which predates both current change forms I have in play so its all good. :))

Sent in a change form 9 weeks ago, got the cards today. They had the plant posession incorrect.

 

I called them and within 2 minutes they said it was an error and they would be sending out new cards.

 

So happy to get this straightened out without any hassle.

 you haven't gotten the corrected cards yet.. could be another 9 wks.. hope not for your sake.. but about that hassle,, give em time ....

I suggested the law says i dont need to be a patient to be a caregiver, even if my card was expired,  they concurred. I also showed my card to be near 2 yrs from the expiry, they processed accordingly and I got a new patient card in a couple weeks and the nice lady apologized for the two errors.

At first, I was only a caregiver instead of being a patient. Also know of others who are caregivers and not patients.
