Thanks again, free.

Its odd w the timing and all... I wonder how long they anticipate this bill needing to sit around before they push it? How it will coexist w the new bill packages and all.

Section 21 taxes will be altered...? They want a 50 per oz wholesale tax between the grower and all others (processing/lounges/retail)... 800 per lb! Wowzers, talk about inflating prices. Yet no mention of a sales tax? Maybe i missed it

Timing of it?  This was introduced in February...  This isn't new, it just sucks.

Both Rep. and Dem are going to hurt us here in MI. Whether it goes Rec or not, they're going to try to get their bite of it and they're going to knock us caregivers out of the loop. They want taxes, plain & simple!!! They also want big business involved. No provisions for those without the initial cash layout to get in on the action. As far as I'm concerned, this just brings back the illegal growers. Michigan can't get their Medical regulated properly to allow legal dispenseries let alone taking it further and bigger!!!! Until Michigan can get their heads out of their arses and LEGALIZE medical allowing growers to sell to anyone with a medical card instead of just their patients and they can agree to legalize dispeneries, not leaving it up to local juristiction, any further regulations are going to be a huge mess. Growers can't even legally sell to dispeneries and dispenserie can't legallly sell to anyone who's not their patients. That's how they shut down a dispensery in Shiawassee Co. as well as one in Bay City area and 1 more I don't remember it's exact location. Small caregivers will be forced to go back underground if they require all these extra fees on sales. How are they supposed to know how much weight any single grower has sold at any given time? There are so many different bills dealing with medical and recreational right now and they're all a mess and all bad news for us if they pass. At least that's what I got out of reading them.

well democrats, on the national level just added "a reasoned pathway to legalization" in their party policy.

while republicans just called porn a "public health crisis" in their national party policy.

so until we have more independents, we are stuck in a two party system, blkwlf

.

Do you still think democrats are against legalization? the house bill submitted this year was for legalization by dem jeff irwin ann arbor.

dem senator young from detroit submitted a Michigan Senate bill to legalize marijuana as well. That's what this thread is discussing

both democratic party bills sit untouched in republican majority michigan house and Senate.

so be very careful when you suggest rep and dem are the same on marijuana here in this state. because you are utterly wrong

when the idiot or if the idiot signs the changes to the law, there will be a 6% sales tax on it like every thing else, the buyers from the liscensed growers I beleive have to pay a 4% tax on the purchase, than when they sell it to pt's and c.g's they charge 6% just like every thing else we buy,,,,,accept for food of course!  maybe we should get it to be a not prepared food so we dont have to pay the sales tax and only the distribution centers will pay the 4% sin tax!

blah blah blah!  pull down your pants every one we are about to get fuckedintheass!

Peace

The laws dont limit c.g's or pt's any more than what they do now, they are keeping c.g's and pt's exchanges tax free, a c.g can be a grower to sell to despensarry's or what ever they are going to call despenses now,,,,,,,,,no changes as of yet for c.g's and pt's, everything remains the same this time around lol!

a c.g can recoup cost's of growing from there pt's, just like they can now, all of the c.g's and pt growers who are supplying the despense's will not be allowed to supply despenses just like now, (despesensarry's are ilegal remember)

read and reread the bills they passed, but you may as well wait untill butt head signs them, Im not so sure he is going to sign them w/o a 9 mill to his head lol!

Peace

Unfortunately they do add more crimes, like transporting without a manifest, can't make BHO near a residence, etc...  So they did change and limit what a CG/PT can do.

can't make BHO  at all right now.. soon you will be able to also we can use oil and candy before this you could be arrested for that, They expanded our law  they did not restrict it   this bill on this tread has nothing to do with pt or caregivers, this is for rec use,

They laid the basis to do away with our current system. Plain and simple. I would say that is working towards restricting it. It may bring access to other forms, and access to more people, but it WILL leave out ppl on things like ssid and such. I cant see any facility operating under 4209 having compassion when there are massive profits to be made.

we have never been allowed to make bho, as far as trans port, nothing has changed other than this locked box thing, a c.g can travel with meds for a pt in a locked box,  No one has ever been allowed to sell to despense's that are not legal!

As of now nothing is changed for pt and c.g growers!

Peace
