CBD oil is now legal to possess in Wisconsin. The only problem is you can't produce it or sell it in Wisconsin. You have to find a source in another State.

The law was signed by the Governor on April 17, 2017, in the hometown of a child who died from Dravet's syndrome, a condition that very well may've been cured by CBD oil had she received timely access to it. The law that was signed can be viewed by clicking on the link at the end of the article.

So if I possessed a 1:1 ratio THC:CBD extract, then I'd still be committing a crime?

In Wis., yes.

In Michigan;

© For purposes of determining usable marihuana equivalency, the following shall be considered equivalent to 1 ounce of usable marihuana:

(1) 16 ounces of marihuana-infused product if in a solid form.

(2) 7 grams of marihuana-infused product if in a gaseous form.

(3) 36 fluid ounces of marihuana-infused product if in a liquid form.
