I can find bacon wrapped filet mignon for $3.99 as well. I mean I wouldn't buy it but it's available.

Thats actually pretty terrible. At roughly 450 grams to a pound, that means its costing him 900$ to produce and process a pound, and hes using natural sunlight for the most part.
I think it costs me around 3-400 to produce a pound.

Well, that is $2.00 Canadian,...  $1.50 USD.

But they also have to do major testing, official packaging, labeling, bottling, and irradiation etc. ;-)

 

And regardless, they have some of the worst pot in the official Canadian system.  *shrug*

 

But, someday they will figure it out would be my guess.
