  1. My friends I am soo tired. This winter has not been good for me, spent most of the past 2 months in my chair. Due to being unable to walk. At last I have convinced my doctor to remove some age old stitches from my knee. Hopefully it will stop the rejection process my body is going through to get rid of em. All I want and ask for is to live in peace, without fear of some over zealous leo barn storming my home and hurting those I live with or myself. I realize that for some it is difficult to understand the pain levels I am dealing with. Not to mention the process of rehabbing my leg myself when it returns to a less painful state of being. As a simple man I am at home in blue jeans and a T shirt. Nothing pleased me more then to roll up my sleeves and do the dirty jobs no one else wanted to do. Now I have to content myself with sitting on the sidelines and hope others can do what I want to. May peace abide with you all.
  2. I think I need to clarify some things, I live on a fixed income. At the end of each month I may have enough to buy myself a steak dinner if I am lucky. To travel to Lansing is often out of the question. Besides having a sever disdain for people that smile in my face and stick a knife in my back. After Standing with my brothers and sisters in for a common cause I was so dismayed to see those cowards slip in add ins to our law with so much a "We would like your input" From us. They know where the money is and they will throw us under the bus to get to it. So what is the point in trying to persuade someone to try to see our points? At one time I held our states leaders in a state of some esteem, today all I have for them is my social finger.
  3. After some investigation I was informed that it had to do with another issue, The way my friend had 1st stated the issue had led me to believe other wise. My apologies.
  4. He was arrested and taken to court. Not sure of the remaining details atm. Will call friend tomorrow and question some more.
  5. As I recall we were assured that the registry would not be used to bust mmj users. Just got a report from a reliable source that if you are a day late on your renewal expect the cops at your door. No warning letter from LARA. LARA seems to be alerting leo in advance of those with cards that are about to expire. And some wonder why I choose to flee this festering cyst on the anus of the world. Pifft Michigan politicians are so full of bunny muffins that it makes me sick to my stomach. Never have I felt so betrayed by someone I trusted.
  6. Foya. you are just the type that sold us out in the 1st place. I just wonder how you sleep at night knowing you betrayed people with your soft words of misguidance. Bet you think your position is going to make you a fortune cause you can afford to grow indoors. Big man with little ideals. Pifft As a seconjd thought, if I am not mistaken you are one of the ppl behind getting dispensaries here in mich. Well the court has ruled them illegal. And know this as long as I reside here I will oppose any and all bills introduce in favor of them!! Put that in your pipe and smoke ua
  7. Just another expense I have to foot, all because someone wants to hide Gods creation. Whats next?? I find maple trees offensive lets enclose them and cover them!! See how silly this is?? Piffft
  8. Okay before I go off the deep end on this , put it in a nut shell for me please. Are they saying I Can not grow out doors if someone can climb up on a garage or into a tree and see into my garden?? If so Michigan can just KISS MY BUNNY MUFFIN MAKER!! As a michigan tax payer of over 40 years I have had enough. Come the fall of this year I am moving out of this corrupt state. You all can have this decaying trash heap of a state. What is so offensive about seeing a plant?? We look at trees, grass, bushes everyday. Piffft So it does look like Joe Cain may be right after all, when he said that the state reps want to gut the mmm law. Yeah I am pissed. Mark my words well if they do this after the fact they seemingly gave us some concessions. Then expect more BS to come until The PEOPLES LAW is no more but a shadow of it's self. Obviously we can not trust our elected officials. So Farewell oh captives of a corrupt and highly disdained government.
  9. Seizures can be very painful, ask a person dealing with epilepsy. For that matter ask people that have sever muscle spasms. Not fun!
  10. As with everything it costs money, I live on a fixed income. To say the least I encounter difficulties from time to time with just meeting my bills. But by the grace of God I manage. At this time I have some old bamboo pouch blinds up. Hopefully they will be usable after the cold weather passes. But I think they will need to be replaced this spring. seeing that they were showing signs of deterioration this past season. I was fortuneit to find them as cast a ways for waste recycling. late in the fall I had wrapped my facility with plastic within a week the wind came up and kindly removed it for me. Thankfully I had did my harvest now I await warmer weather and the ability to go out and address the issues it caused. And to assess how to deal with the problem with an eye to making impossible to have it happen again. I have a few ideals after reading the law as I understand it now. So now to figure how to make it workable. Aside from that I would like to address an issue I still see here. SFC I realize you have tried to help us as much as humanly possible to understand the issues as you see them. But resorting to diminishing another's character or their opinions with remarks that imho are very unprofessional. Many people that visit this board look at this type of behavior with much disdain. Yes I realize you get upset at times, just like the rest of us here. Brother take a deep breath and step back for a minute. Once we have the straight scoop on just how the laws are worded then maybe after several reads we all can find something to be glad about. As it stands looking from the outside in. It would appear at first glance you are on the side of those many of us distrust in the state capital. Personally I put the snide remarks aside and try to see things from your point of view. It not easy at times, especially when I have only out dated information on which to base my opinions on. "Sucks to be at the bottom of the totem pole" Please try to see things as we see them. After all we are not on the front lines as you maybe. Try to remember my friend that we are sitting here biting our nails in fear that we will loose our right and become targets for leo.
  11. Out of all of the posts I have read so far I have to agree with you SFC on this statement. Reading the language of the law I see I will need to do a little more jumping through hoops to be in compliance. Namely finding a economical way to obscure ground lvl line of sight into my grow. Not real happy with that. Because I have to find a source of income to do this with but at least I do not need to cover it now. I'll take that as some consultation. Like so many here I am wizzed off, but now I do see some "sunshine" in some of what has passed. I admit that the Reps felt it necessary to pass some laws. I would still like to see the felony thing amended to allow for people with felonies of any type over say 12 years old with no other felonies afterwards to be allowed to be caregivers. Imho I see no issue with doing this. It should not be the purpose of any law to punish someone after the fact of a conviction. Yes I do realize that they are looking to protect the people from potential harm. Realistically though those that have been clean for that long are less of a risk then some fresh out of the system.

  13. Zap with all due respect, do you really think we have a snowballs chance in hell to have any real voice in any matters concerning medical marijuana in Michigan or for that matter any other proposed law? Seriously man, our voices went unheard in the end. All we got was lip service and a good screwing. Everyone here can ride along until there is no medical marijuana in Michigan at which point I imagine some here will break out the champagne while counting the "blessings" of the state. Imho the more people at the rallies would have had a better impact. But no. Why? Because some preferred to betray the people with soft words and good sounding speeches here. Are you aware that while we had our eyes on this matter they created a law limiting our ability to recall them?? Yeah we are headed down a very dark road. Esp when the people's rights are cast aside. I may not see the day when storm troopers go marching through our streets but it is coming and if people here can not see that. They will get what they are asking for, So in closing I say go forth oh yes men and bargain away the peoples rights as you see fit. But be aware the rights that are given away may have an effect on our off spring in very negative ways. Not from the people, from those that some have gotten into bed with. Yeah those that seek to suppress the rights and freedoms of the people. Know this I WILL NEVER SUPPORT ANOTHER REPUBLICAN AND WILL DO ALL I CAN AT ELECTION TIME TO DISSUADE PEOPLE FROM VOTING REPUBLICAN!!!!
  14. Why post this? The laws passed and this is just another farce to appear that they care. Pifft What a waste of time to think we will have any real input in the process? Are you all really that blind? The Governor will place people in those positions that will not favor us one bit, all they will be thinking is how to milk us for every dollar they can get. Wake the farark up!!!
  15. you are not going to get many answers here, all of them have been passed as far as I can find out. Sad to think some here were so self assured that they refused to join ppl at the rallies. Now my question is what do we do now?? Add more prep H to our medicine cabinets? Nothing reasonable about making me find another doctor for my healthcare needs. So I say Piffft to the nay Sayers that sat in their arm chairs and called shots from there. Thanks for nothing!!! Piffft
