  1. Good point. I personally don’t make a lot from being a cg, just a side thing I enjoy doing but I do have a job. I haven’t ever claimed it on my taxes but I’ve never been sure if I’m supposed to be or not. I was just wondering if I need to be claiming it & how it would effect getting a loan if it was on the return but not trying to use it as income to get approved for a loan. If anyone has ever had an audit or some problems from not claiming cg income please share. Thanks for the feedback so far everyone.
  2. Yea not really worried about using the income to get approved. More worried about getting denied for them seeing an income that is considered federally illegal when they go through my tax returns.
  3. Hi I was just wondering if anyone has experience buying a rental property while being a cg. If you claim the income on your tax return I’m assuming a bank will deny you for a rental property loan since they won’t even let you keep the cash in their bank. Am I correct in this assumption? Any experience or input would be helpful, thanks.
  4. Hi, my name is Matt, I’m a caregiver in the kalamazoo/Battle creek area. I have 2 available slots for a patient. I grow a variety of different strains & am reliable, honest, & willing to travel reasonable distance to drop off meds. If interested please pm me. Thanks
  5. Hi I am having problems in the garden & some advice would be much appreciated. I have posted a couple pics & it usually comes when I start getting buds in flowering. I started using RO water because I thought it might be my well water but didn't help. Some of the plants don't get bad but some get really bad. The fan leaves curl upwards & are crispy & dead eventually. I use heavy 16 nutrients which says it doesn't need to be ph'd when in a certain range but I've tried ph'ing & not ph'ing in DWC & soil & tried adding cal mag but certain plants keep getting it. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide
  6. Hi I am a caregiver in the Kalamazoo area with 2 slots available for patients. I provide a variety of strains & am willing to travel to meet or deliver if needed. Pm me if interested & we can discuss more details. Thanks
  7. What about a caregiver that doesn't grow and just goes out and purchases meds for his or her patient? If the patient gives them the money to purchase and no profit is made then is that considered a taxable transaction I wonder?
  8. I've been having the same problem. It seems like a lot of people I talk to about becoming their cg think that I am just supposed to grow their plants and give them a free oz per month just to be a nice guy. I want to help people with their conditions and everything but I am not going to take the risk, time, and spend the money to provide a service for free. Funny how they think they deserve a free service but they don't ever volunteer to provide me with anything free in return.
  9. shishka, I'm getting about 1 to 1.5 oz per plant off of about 7 or 8 plants per 1000 watt light. I am vegging in a 4 by 4 tent that is about 7 feet tall. Sometimes I cram about 20 plants in the tent so I think I might need more space if I am to get more light in there or maybe just do about 6 plants and grow them bigger. What do you think? I was using 3 gallon bags but just started using 5 gallon instead.
  10. Ok ozzrokk, the checks in the mail haha
  11. Thank you all for the great advice. I am going to add some light to my veg room and try the staggering method beans mentioned and start to scrog. I definitely do need to start a journal/calender too. I'm glad I didn't just go out and spend $200 on a new line of ferts so thank you all for that haha
  12. Hello everybody, I wanted to get some advice and feedback about getting bigger yields. I consistently only get a max of about 1.5 oz per plant. I use a 1000 watt hps light so I don't believe lighting is a problem. I am thinking that my fertilizer could be the problem. I use iguana juice bloom organic fertilizer only and water with it every other watering. I used to use iguana juice grow for veg. but stopped when I was told it is not necessary and affects cloning when using fertilizer in veg. (please correct me if that is wrong). I veg my plants under a 90 watt LED light and 3 other 50 watt compact flourescents so I am not sure if that is enough. Can somebody recommend a non-organic fertilizer set of products that would get my yields over 2 oz per plant? Or any other recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  13. Ok, I appreciate the response. Take care
  14. I am just wondering if a gram of hash oil is considered the same amount as a gram of bud by law? So for each patient would I be able to have 2.5 oz of oil is what I am asking. If it is the same it seems like a way to possess more thc content than 2.5 oz of bud while still staying in the guidelines of the law. Thanks for the help.
  15. I thought once a person signs with a cg they automatically give up their plant rights to the cg?
